SNA-SPARSH Pay ID for Bihar Teachers: New Salary System
From financial year 2026-27, niyojit teachers and headmasters working under Samagra Shiksha in Bihar’s government schools will be paid through SNA-SPARSH (often written as “SNA SPASH” in news reports). Each teacher gets a unique Pay ID, created from a pay-creation form with bank, Aadhaar, PAN, and address details. Teacher data is uploaded on the CFMS 2.0 portal. Officials were given until 10 October 2026 to complete the process.
What Has Changed?
Dharmendra Kumar, Director of the Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC), Patna, has directed officials to move salary payment for these teachers to SNA-SPARSH.
Who is covered: Niyojit teachers and headmasters paid under Samagra Shiksha in government schools. Teachers paid under other heads are not part of this change.
What Is SNA-SPARSH?
SNA-SPARSH stands for Samayochit Pranali Ekikrit Shighra Hastantaran. It is a fund-release system for Centrally Sponsored Schemes. Instead of sending money in advance, it releases funds “just in time”, only when a payment is actually due.
Samagra Shiksha is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme, which is why teacher salaries paid under it are moving to this system.
How Your Salary Will Flow Now
- Pay-creation form: You submit your details and documents.
- Upload on CFMS 2.0: Officials upload teacher data as beneficiaries, at most 300 teachers in one batch.
- Verification and approval: The uploaded data is checked and approved.
- Salary claim: A claim is prepared based on the available budget.
- Payment: Once the virtual allotment or drawing limit is available, salary is paid through CFMS 2.0 and SNA-SPARSH.

Documents for the Pay-Creation Form
- Personal bank account details
- Aadhaar number
- PAN number
- Address
- Self-attested copies of your bank passbook, Aadhaar card, and PAN card
- Your signature and seal
The 10 October Deadline Has Passed: What Now?
The deadline was set for officials to collect forms and finish the process. The reports do not say what happens to forms submitted late.
If you’re unsure whether your Pay ID was created:
- Ask your Head Master whether your pay-creation form was forwarded.
- Contact your BEO or the district Samagra Shiksha office (DPO) if it wasn’t.
- Make sure your name matches exactly across your bank account, Aadhaar, and PAN. A spelling mismatch is a common reason for payment trouble.
- Keep copies of everything you submitted.
This change comes as the Finance Department is running a separate October salary verification for Education Department staff, so it’s worth having both your Pay ID and your pay records in order.
